Text version

1. What are the sidewall heights for each building, to determine whether scaffolding or a manlift is more efficient.

Response:

Elevations are as follows:

bld 1830: 15’-12’ bld 1831: 12’ bld 1835: 20’ bld 1840: (see drawing) bld 1867: 12’ bld 1869: 15’

Attached are elevations for all buildings. 1840 is a multi elevated building. The rest are single story and straight forward.

2. In Division1 Section 02301 Last line of paragraph 3.1 Reads Contractor shall ensure that LBP is not disturbed during execution of this contract. However In the drawings page 03 on building 1867 note states remove peeling Lead-based Paint. In Section 02301 Table 1 building 1867 is not listed as having any LBP I don't know how to interpret this. The question is, Is there LBP to be removed and how much or prep and paint as normal.

Response:

The excerpt from Division 1 Section 02301 Last line of paragraph 3.1 is talking about the buildings identified in the previous sentence. Buildings 1830, 1835, 1840, and 1869. “The LBP identified on Buildings 1830, 1835, 1840, and 1869 is in good condition and need not be removed prior to building demolition. Contractor shall ensure that LBP is not disturbed during execution of this contract. “ For further clarification the contractor shall ensure that LBP is not disturbed in buildings 1830, 1835, 1840, and 1869 during execution of this contract.

For clarification on page 3 of the drawings the note identified as “ remove peeling lead-based paint “ will be revised to read “remove peeling paint”. Building 1867 has been identified as not have lead based paint. In agreement with the XRF Readings Lead-Based Paint Inspection Results found in the NZAS 99-1030 Type A Report
