QUESTION:

What is the weight of the new generator?

RESPONSE:

Weight of the new generator as it will be picked up from the base location is 5200 pounds.

What is the weight of the existing generator?

Weight of the existing generator is 7200 pounds.

Are we responsible to install oil and water in new generators? Gas?

Oil and water is already in new units. Fuel shall be transferred from existing underground tank into new GFE tank, so the government shall provide fuel source to the new day tank but the contractor shall provide equipment and labor to transfer the fuel.

There is no main disconnect at the service pole. Utility companies will need to disconnect site power while the temporary generator and transfer switch are tied into the existing ct can, and again at removal. This will require 2 to 4 trips to the site by utility company, and they will charge for these trips each way. Please advise which electrical utility serves each site.

RESPONSE:

MAF Designation Sites Electrical Company servicing the sites

NW Energy – A-1, B-1, C-1, G-1, H-1, I-1, K-1, L-1, M-1

Fergus Electric – D-1, E-1, N-1, O-1

Sun River – F-1, J-1

Are the government furnished generators and transfer switch for B.U.P weatherproof, or do we need to build an enclosure for them?

Both the ATS and the GFE have weather proof enclosures.
