SOURCES SOUGHT: FA4626-25-Dorm Maintenance Training Notice Type: Sources Sought
1. Notice: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only
1.1. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-aside. The NAICS is 611519 “Other Technical and Trade Schools,” standard size of $21M. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement.
The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HUBZone, and Women owned small business concerns. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code.
Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners.
1.2. Below is a document containing a description of services requirement and a Contractor Capability Survey, which allows you to provide your company’s capability.
1.3. If the Government decides to conduct procurement as a result of the market research, a separate pre-solicitation synopsis of that procurement will be posted to SAM.GOV. Interested companies are requested to submit a summary outline of their qualifications to conduct integrated water sediment removal services at Malmstrom AFB. References to vendor web pages will not be accepted.
1.4. Please note we cannot return your submissions to you.
1.5. Small businesses are encouraged to participate in this Market Research.
2. This request for Sources Sought is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered an invitation for bid, request for quotation, request for proposal, or obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or material. No contract award will be made as a result of this sources sought synopsis. This information is provided to the government at no cost.
REQUIREMENTS DESCRIPTION
2. Summary of Work
2.1. Provide services/training as outlined. Here to the purchaser is known as the 341st Missile Wing (US Government) and the contractor providing service is known as the seller.
2.2. The Contractor shall provide a total of 16 hours of training on commercial and industrial door systems, allocated as follows: 7 hours of classroom instruction and 9 hours of hands-on training conducted in either the shop or the field. Classroom training will cover theoretical concepts, including the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the following specific door systems:
• Sectional Overhead Doors
• Commercial Door Motors
• Rollup and Overhead Steel Doors
• Rollup and Overhead Fire Doors
The hands-on training will focus on practical applications, including tasks such as:
• Assembling and installing sectional and rolling doors
• Programming and troubleshooting commercial door motors
• Performing fire door drop tests and resetting procedures
• Conducting maintenance and repair tasks on all covered door systems
Trainees are expected to achieve a proficiency level sufficient to independently perform routine maintenance, basic repairs, and installations under minimal supervision by the end of the training program.
