About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers file for a Mounted Guard Booth solicitation (FA462525Q1049) issued by the Department of the Air Force Global Strike Command for Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri. The Q&A addresses two specific vendor inquiries: (1) details about the LED roof alarm, where the government clarified that any red flashing light mountable on top of the guard booth is acceptable, and (2) confirmation that the government will handle offloading of the guard booth. The solicitation requires vendors to submit a quote including acknowledgment of amendments, a Price and Capabilities Statement, and company contact information. Amendment 2, dated 26 August 2025, extended the close-out date to 29 August 2025 at 12:00 PM CST and attached Salient Characteristics for the Red LED alarm. The delivery address for the mounted guard booth is specified as 509 SFS SFOSS, 1031 Vandenberg Ave, Whiteman AFB, MO 65305.

Mounted Guard Booth

1. Please provide us with salient characteristics and the model/brand for the LED roof alarm.

· I’ve attached Salient Characteristics for the red LED roof alarm. It is okay if they cannot provide the exact roof alarm attached as long as the light can be mounted on top of the guard booth and emits a red flashing light.

2. Will the government offload the guard booth, or is the contractor responsible for offloading?

· The government will be responsible for offloading the guard booth.
