About this file
This document contains a question and answer file related to a waste water management solicitation. The solicitation is for base year plus four option years of commercial services at Whiteman Air Force Base per the performance work statement. Services include maintenance of oil/water separators, holding tanks, grease traps, and lift stations as well as testing, hauling, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The questions clarify that pricing should be separated for trip charges and gallonage removed, define hazardous waste testing standards, and confirm the waste collected is mostly raw sewage with some storm water infiltration. Bidders should review amendment three to the price schedule. All questions were required to be submitted by August 18th, 2022.

Waste Water Management Q&A FA462522R1010, Amendment #1
22 August 2022
General Question
Q1. When it comes to A job price versus per gallon cost for a Routine maintenance. Is this the trip charge per event, and then the gallon charge is priced in addition?
A1. A job price would consist of the total charge for gallonage and trip cost billed on separate CLINs.
Q2. Furthermore: in the category of 0006 of hazardous waste. Please define what this material would be to quality as hazardous waste?
A2. Hazardous waste is determined when it is tested as detailed in the PWS paragraph 2.2.2.1.
Q3. What is running through the lift stations?
A3. Sewage.
Q4. Are they septic or storm water?
A4. Mostly raw sewer, with some infiltration of water due to rain events.
Q5. As a follow-up regarding 0001 under the pricing sheet. This section shows a total of 4 events. But based on the number of times per year we are required to pump the total gallons proposed within a year, this would be 12 to 13 loads. Or 12 to 13 events.
A5. **Amendment 3 Price Schedule v2 has been published along with this amendment. The number of times each location is required to be serviced is dictated by the schedule within the PWS, which will be either quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. How many trips and loads each service requires will depend on your equipment and plan.
