Text version
The RFQ says that 65% of purchases will be trade hardcover; however, WAFB purchases a mix of bindings, including trade hardcover, quality paperbacks, library bindings, spoken word audio, etc. Can we provide a discount schedule for these various bindings in our bid? YES, we do order paperbacks as well as hardbacks.
The following processing for the Whiteman AFB account is provided by the incumbent: barcode, Mylar jacket, paperback laminate, property stamp. Should we include pricing for all of these services in our proposal? Pricing for the base year and each option year is required, but a price breakdown can be included if the vendor so chooses.
Please provide clarification on how the vendors are to provide a total base price for each year. Can you provide an average list price per materials category, so that vendors are all using the same price when applying discounts and calculating a total. This is just an average of the following. Audio CDs are primarily audio books which are more expensive than music.
o Hardbacks $30 o Paperbacks $20 o DVDs $25 o Audio Book CDs $40 o Music CDs $20
Should we include processing in our calculations? If so, should we only include barcodes and Mylar, as that is what is listed in the RFQ, so that all vendors are adding the same items in our calculations? All processing should be in calculations
