NOTE(S):

1. The UCR defines two VDS products, a Closed VDS system and a VDS-IP system (Open or Proprietary Distribution). The SUT was tested and is certified as a Proprietary Distribution VDS-IP system. A Proprietary Distribution VDS-IP system must meet all of the General Closed VDS plus VDS-IP requirements.

2. The UCR states that a closed VDS can support any one of the following analog interfaces: RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485.

3. The SUT does not support this conditional/optional interface requirement.

4. Per the UCR a VDS-IP system must support an RS-232, USB, or Ethernet interface, but does not specify media or data rate for Ethernet.

The SUT must support at least one of the specified interfaces.

5. The UCR specifies that all network appliances must be managed via an Ethernet interface but does not specify media or data rate. The SUT must support at least one of the specified interfaces.

6. Closed VDS and VDS-IP systems may support VDS Signal Extenders, Peripheral Connectors, or Peripheral Connector Conversion devices. If supported, these subcomponents must meet the applicable UCR requirements specified in Section 9.

7. The SUT supports HDMI natively without the need for a VDS peripheral connector conversion device and therefore does not support this conditional requirement.

NOTE(S):

1. The annotation of "required" refers to a high-level requirement category. Table 3-2 in Enclosure 3 of Reference (d) addresses the applicability of each sub-requirement.

2. A JITC-led Cybersecurity test team conducted Cybersecurity testing and published the results in a separate report, Reference (e).

3. The SUT met the requirements with the exceptions noted in Table 1. With DTR 1, the IPv6 discrepancy was resolved as noted in Table 1 (TDR Crestron-0764-001).

5. The SUT is not a VDS Recording Device; therefore, these requirements do not apply to the SUT.

NOTE(S):

1. The SUT was initially tested with Software Release version 5.2. DTR 1 updated the Software Release version from 5.2 to 7.1, which included the following sub-component software version updates: Control System from 2.7000.00014 to 2.8001.00068 and TS from

1.005.0001 to version 2.004.1001.

2. Components bolded and underlined were tested by JITC. The other component in the family series was not tested; however, JITC certified he other components for joint used because they utilize the same software and similar hardware as tested and certified components and JITC analysis determined they were functionally identical for interoperability certification purposes.

3. With DTR 1, the DM-NVX-E10, DM-NVX-E20, DM-NVX-D10, DM-NVX-D20, DM-NVX-D200, DM-NVX-E20-2G, DM-NVX-361, and DM-NVX-361C were added based on analysis (no testing) and similarity to the previously tested and certified DM-NVX-363C encoder/decoder device.

4. Test Details. This extension of the certification is based on DTR 1. The original certification, documented in Reference (d), was based on IO testing, review of the Vendor’s Letter of Compliance (LoC), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) adjudication of open TDRs, and the DISA Certifying Authority Recommendation for inclusion on the DoDIN APL.

JITC completed review of the Vendor’s LoC on 16 September 2021 and conducted testing at the Global Network Test Facility located at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, from 20 September through 23 September 2021, using test procedures derived from Reference (f). DISA adjudication outstanding TDRs on 5 October 2021. A JITC-led CS test team conducted CS testing and published the results in a separate report, Reference (e). Enclosure 2 of Reference (d) documents the test results and describes the test network and system configurations. Enclosure 3 of Reference (d) provides the detailed interface, capability, and functional requirements.

DTR 1 requested the following updates:

Update the SUT Software Release version from 5.2 to 7.1.

Update the Control System Software Release version from 2.7000.00014 to 2.8001.00068.

Update the TS Software Release version from 1.005.0001 to version 2.004.1001.

Close open CS findings.

Resolve the IO test discrepancy documented in IO TDR Crestron-0794-001.

Add the DM-NVX-E10, DM-NVX-E20, DM-NVX-D10, DM-NVX-D20, DM-NVX-D200, DM-NVX-E20-2G, DM-NVX-361, and DM-NVX-361C encoder/decoder devices to the list of certified SUT components by similarity.

JITC analysis determined IO and CS testing were required to validate resolution of the CS findings and IO test discrepancy and verify the SUT software update did not change the certified

IO features and function or approved CS posture of the SUT. Furthermore, there were no past due CS or IO Vendor Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms).

JITC conducted CS testing with the updated software from 2 May to 5 May 2023 and documented the results in a separate report, Reference (e).

JITC conducted IO testing from 3 to 5 May 2023, using test procedures derived from Reference (g). The SUT is a Proprietary Distribution VDS-IP system. IO testing included connecting each DM-NVM-363C, Crestron CP4, and TS-1070-Government Version (GV)-Black (B)-Smooth (S) (TS-1070-GV-B-S) component into a site-provided network switch. After initial setup each component was tested via its Ethernet connection using protocols and security features for communication.

DTR 1 IO testing demonstrated the SUT meets current UCR 2013 Change 2 VDS-IP requirements with no new IO test discrepancies. In addition, testing confirmed resolution and closure of the IPv6 compliance discrepancy documented in TDR Crestron-0794-001, as noted in Table 1. The DM-NVX-E10, DM-NVX-E20, DM-NVX-D10, DM-NVX-D20, DM-NVX-D200, DM-NVX-E20-2G, DM-NVX-361, and DM-NVX-361C were also certified based on similarity to the previously tested and certified DM-NVX-363C encoder/decoder device. See Table 4 for a updated list of SUT certified components.

Based on analysis, the IO test results, and no past due IO Vendor POA&Ms, JITC approves

DTR 1.

5. Additional Information.
