About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) memorandum from the 92nd Air Refueling Wing at Fairchild Air Force Base for solicitation FA462025QA829 regarding 750 kVA Transformers. The Q&A addresses six key points about the transformer procurement, including cooling medium (FR3 is acceptable), transformer type (no dry-type alternatives), warranty (commercially available), tax exemption (yes), transportation (must be included in price to Fairchild AFB, WA), and winding material (copper, per Amendment 1, not aluminum). The document provides clarification for potential vendors on specific technical and logistical requirements for the transformer procurement.
