SUMMARY OF CHANGES

The purpose of this Amendment is to answer questions on the posted solicitation.

1. Q1: Where will the items be transported to?

A1: Schedule I and II (inbound and outbound) items to/from members residence and contractors’ facility until released to freight hauler. Schedule III (local moves) to/from members current/old residence and new residence.

Q2: Are all the areas in the same base or in different locations to get a shipping cost?

A2: Fairchild AFB is the epicenter of the moves. Moves will be required from the 6 different zones (various counties) as listed in Attach. 1 – PWS, to contractor facility and/or new residence if under Schedule III.

Q3: Where are we relocating these items to?

A3: See question 1.

Q4: Under the daily capability what it the NCWT?

A4: Max NCWT 200 each schedule, Minimum 180 NCWT each Schedule.

Q5: Will there be a need for specialists to uninstall and reinstall any specialty items (for example electrical or computer networks) A5: No, only disassemble and reassemble furniture or household good items as described in Attach 1.

Q6: Will there be any fragile cargo to move?

A6: Yes, household goods.

Q7: Will we need to move the containers that will be provided?

A7: Yes, Contractor is responsible for all Household Goods Items preparation, packing, transportation, and storage as necessary.

Q8: Will the government offer a storage location? Or will we need to off base?

A8: Contractor is responsible for receiving, processing, and storing all Schedule I and II shipment and as such must have a facility that has been preapproved by the Storage Management Office at USTRANSCOM HQ Scott AFB, IL.

Q9: Will we need to provide forklifts to move the crates?

A9: Contractor will need to provide all special handling equipment and packing/packing material.

Q10: Do you have an approximate of how many buildings will need to be packed?

A10: This is not a one time move requirement or moves from a government facility this is a continual – possibly daily requirement to receive Inbound Personal Property Shipments or Packing/Pick up of Outbound Personal Property Shipments and requirement to relocate homes within the same geographic area.

Q11: Since this is a RFQ does it have a budget limit of $150,000 per year?

A11: No.

Q12: Is this a new contract or did someone have it before?

A12: FA462024QA200 will be a follow on to current contracts.

Q13: What was the contract number and how much was it for?

A13: Current contract numbers are FA462019DA001 (Schedule III) and FA462019DA002 (schedule I & II).
