QUESTIONS AND THE GOVERNMENTS ANSWERS
Q: Please specify load bank “Bi-annual”. Two visits a year or every other year?
A: The Bi-annual testing would be 2 times a year, IAW UFC 3-540-01.
Q: Please specify what a county/State confidence test would include?
A: As far as the county/state confidence test info, this info is compiled through our annual Spokane Regional Clean Air Agency certifications, the maintenance folks would present us with any data collected. JPRA will provide the technicians with our GENERATOR OPERATIONS LOG, AFCESA 487 to be used to log the testing information
Q: How close can they get their vehicle to the generators?
A: The technicians can drive right to the generators.
Q: What percentage of load does the load bank test need to be performed at?
A: The generators will be tested at 50% for the first hour and 75% for the second hour
Q: The SOW says to replace coolant in all units in 2020. Usually they would also replace the entire coolant system, as coolant corrodes the hoses over time. Is that what you would like done, or do you want only the coolant itself replaced?
A: Replace coolant in all units and replace hoses and parts as needed
Q: Do you want the engine oil filter replaced every year? How many hours a year do the generators run?
A: Usually the filters are replaced on all units annually.
Q: Some of the work would mean close to 12 hour days. What are the time constraints on the technicians?
A: In the past, the work has been accomplished with-in an 8 to 9 hour day, but will accommodate as needed.
