1. What is “Start Team” Requests with Trailer? Does the government want to rent a trailer? If so what size?
A: The Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START) is a series of agreements between the United States and Russia to reduce their nuclear weapons.
The inspection team travels to Travis AFB after which they have 4 hours to declare their base of in-tent. If selected, the Team arrives at the Cheyenne airport. The contractor would then be notified of the Missile Alert Facility (MAF) location(s) and would have the latrines in place the next morning for the inspection team personnel.
The transport trailer is furnished by the contractor.
2. What constitutes a large volume event?
A: Our present contractor determines the following as large events:
Thunderbirds Air Show, Fort D A Russell Days, Frontiercade, and Freedom Fest Concert.
These events are the ones that are timely and costly due to the manpower and length of time.
3. Total Number of Units: How many portable latrines, oil/water separators, and grease traps are required under this contract?
A:
-Latrines are determined by the event. The most we use at any given time is approximately 40.
26 Regular / Handicap (give or take).
-Oil Water Separators – 11
-Grease Traps - 8
4. Service Frequencies & Duration: What are the expected service intervals (routine and emergency), and how long will services be required?
A:
-Latrines - This depends on the event and or nature of the emergency.
-Oil Water Separators and Grease Traps – Serviced Quarterly.
5. Maintenance Responsibility: Will Warren AFB handle unit maintenance, or should we include servicing costs in our proposal?
A: All maintenance is on the contractor.
6. Emergency Response Time: What is considered an adequate response time for emergency service requests?
A: Same Day.
7. Total Project Time Frame: What is the full duration of the project, and are there any key dates we should be aware of?
A: 5-year contract (base + 4 Option Years). Summer is peak season - Thunderbird Air Show is the of Cheyenne Frontier Days (late July, early Aug). This includes Fort D A Russell Days, Frontiercade, and Freedom Fest Concert.
8. Would Warren AFB service the unit or should we include in the rental price?
