Crow Creek Camera Upgrade Question and Answers

Solicitation Number: FA461324Q1045

1. Can we please have the distance from the solar locations to the main head end?

a. The intent for the system will be to communicate to a receiving location at Bldg. 1501 or the nearest SF Facility. From the receiving location, it will communicate to the law enforcement desk where the video footage can be monitored. We do not have proper equipment to provide an accurate distance from each location but below are rough estimates:

i. Crow Creek East: about 4,397 meters to Bldg. 1501 (if possible can connect to crow creek west 3,578 meters) or Gate 2 about 323 meters

ii. Crow Creek West: about 917 meters to Bldg. 1501

iii. North Perimeter: about 3,589 meters to Bldg. 1501

2. Is it a clear line of sight from camera location to head end?

a. There are trees that might cause a line of site issue from crow creek east to Bldg.

1501.

3. How many cameras would provide adequate coverage to observe Western Crow Creek FEW AFB perimeter boundary, Eastern Crow Creek FEW AFB perimeter boundary, and North perimeter boundary of FEW AFB?

a. 1 to 2 cameras should provide adequate coverage as the intent is to view the installation perimeter at their respected locations.

4. Ability to connect from camera location (i.e., open field) to/from control center without utilizing AFNet.

- Can the cameras be linked to BDOC thru a VLAN network System using in place network infrastructure?

a. The intent is for the cameras to communicate to BDOC VIA the LAN connections that run across the installation but monitored via a stand alone system as to not be connected to AFNET.

5. Redundant servers that provide automatic failover. Capability to store video for 90-days

- Are you requiring a separate Recording server for each camera?
