About this file
This document is a set of Questions and Answers related to a federal contract opportunity for a Command Post Voice Switch System at FE Warren AFB. The contract opportunity is a Request for Quote (RFQ) seeking to enhance current systems and increase capabilities of interoperable communications, such as one touch initiation, hotline availability, radio operations, multi-party conferencing, and phone-radio coupling.
Key details include: the opportunity is a total small business set-aside with NAICS code 334210; the government intends to award a firm fixed-price commercial contract; the period of performance is 120 calendar days after date of order/contract; and the government may negotiate with and seek quote revisions from offerors after receipt of quotes. The Questions and Answers provide details on the console and radio requirements, power and networking infrastructure, and training for 15 controllers. The government will evaluate quotes based on technical capability and price, with award going to the lowest price technically acceptable offer.
