About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for Commercial Internet Services (CIS) at Vandenberg Space Force Base, effective 20 February 2025. The contractor must provide commercial internet service and connectivity to buildings 7000 and 8401, delivering 1 Gb of commercial internet services at each site and providing an IPv4 Block /29 at each location. The services support the S4S and 18 SDS mission requirements for unfiltered network access to commercial partner resources that are inaccessible through DoD networks, enabling administrators to download patches for locally managed network switches and software and providing space operators with access to commercial resources in support of Space Domain Awareness (SDA).

The government will provide network transport (fiber, CAT-6) from the contractor demarcation point to end-user locations within the facilities and will provide and maintain required access layer network switches, wireless access points, and workstation hardware. The contractor must coordinate all CIS service cutovers and maintenance with the government program manager and perform all work according to industry standards including ANSI/TIA/EIA 568-B Commercial Building Telecommunications Cabling Standard, UFC 3-580-01 Telecommunications Interior Infrastructure Planning and Design with Change 1, NEC, MIL-HDBKS, STDS, UFGS, UFC, Caltrans Standard Specifications, and Caltrans Standard Drawings. Service invoices and billing statements must be submitted monthly to S4S S4/6 agency via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), letter mail, or email.
