SUBJECT: B10122 RM 103, 104, 105 Carpet Install (Notice ID: FA461024Q0090)

1. Can you provide information on the current incumbent(s) for this contract and their performance?

There is no incumbent for this requirement.

2. Is there a set budget for this contract, and if so, can you share that information?

We cannot answer or provide information for this question.

3. Are there any known hazardous materials (e.g., asbestos) in the existing flooring or adhesives that would require abatement?

There are no known hazardous materials.

4. What is the expected timeframe for project completion after award?

The awarded Contractor must perform within 90 days from the date of award.

5. Will the rooms be occupied or in use during the installation process?

Each room will be occupied but the occupant will be relocated during the demolition/installation effort.

6. Are there any security clearance requirements for personnel working on this project?

Installers must be eligible to be vouched on base. The area of work does not have any additional restrictions.

7. Is there a designated area for staging materials and equipment during the project?

Contractor will coordinate with facility manager/user after award. It can be assumed that the front parking lot and/or the lobby can be used as laydown.

8. Are there any specific requirements for disposal of the old carpeting and materials?

Yes, all demolished materials must be disposed at a recycling plant and the government should be provided the receipt.

9. The Console Desk in room 105, will it be removed or will contractors lift it out of the way?

Please assume that the console desk will need to be lifted/removed for carpet installation.
