SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS

1.0 The 21st Satellite Operations Squadron (SOPS) has the requirement to procure three (3) 25 Ton

Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) portable, skid mounted units for 21 SOPS, Detachment 1 located in Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory (BIOT).

2.0 The minimum specifications for each of the 25TON HVAC portable, skid mounted units are as follows:

Stackable Metal Frame with Forklift Pockets Cooling Capacity - 300,000 BTU Power Supply - 3 Phases / 480v / 60hz Max Air Flow - 10,100 CFM (Evaporator) Refrigerant - R-410A or equivalent Operating Condition - 64-113 F

2.1 Units will be pad mounted at ground level and ducted to supply and return wall penetrations.

2.2 Units will be powered by separate, 125amp, 480v/60hz breakers.

2.2.1 Units must come with built-in breaker.

2.3 Provide a list and 12-month supply of materials needed to conduct manufacture recommended preventive maintenance schedule (Examples include but are not limited to disposable air filters, fan belts, motor belts, grease etc..)

2.4 Provide a list of critical spares and provide one additional replacement for each of these parts.

2.4.1 List of critical spares should include most commonly replaced parts with an expected lead time of longer than 8 weeks (Examples include but are not limited to motors, refrigerant containers etc..)

2.5 Multiple collars of various sizes to be used with the ducting (20”, 18”, 12”, and 10”)

2.5.1 Silver air ducting tape (6 rolls) (non-webbed/not grey duct tape)

2.5.2 Pressure rated soft sealant to reinforce against air leaks at connecting points.

2.5.3 Large 26” length zip ties (4 packages)

3.0 The vendor will be shipping the three (3) 25 TON HVAC units to:
