MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD

SOLICITATION NUMBER: FA4610-19-R-A041

SUBJECT: XUMU 19-1043B, Replace Door with Automatic Door, Bldg. 6670

1. On 8 Aug 2019, Mr. Rolando Quizon from Civil Engineering requested a Site Validation Visit.

A Site Validation Visit was scheduled for 20 Aug 2019 at 9:30 AM PDT.

2. A Site Validation Visit was conducted on 20 Aug 2019 for titled project. The following representatives were in attendance:

a. During the Site Validation Visit, the following items were discussed:

i) The door should open automatically using either a motion sensor or a wall push putton.

ii) The buttons/sensor must be on both sides of the door.

iii) No center divider.

iv) Small windows on both door panels conforming to the required specifications.

v) The panic bar does not need to be automatic, must have a manual method of operating.

vi) A power source is available in the hallway.

vii) Finishings/colors shall match required base specifications.

3. Please submit all questions in the form of Requests for Information (RFI) no later than 22 Aug 2019, 2:00PM PDT. Information discussed at the site visit is not confirmed unless it has been addressed formally in response to RFIs.
