About this file
This is Amendment 2 to Request for Quote (RFQ) FA460825Q0002 for vehicle barrier maintenance at Barksdale Air Force Base, LA. The amendment provides Q&A responses clarifying that maintenance is required for three GRAB-300 (Ground Retractable Automobile Barrier K12/ASTM M50) barriers located at the Bodcau Gate, North Gate, and West Gate. The barriers were installed between 2007-2013 and include associated controls, traffic lights, and overspeed/wrong-way detection systems.
The Period of Performance for the base year is April 1, 2025 through September 30, 2025. Key requirements include maintenance of electric GRAB Net barriers and all associated controls, signs and signals. While contractor certification from the AVB manufacturer is not required, personnel must meet qualifications outlined in Section 3 of the Performance Work Statement. The amendment includes photos of the barriers at each gate and their control systems, showing yellow retractable barriers with traffic control equipment. The last preventive maintenance was performed on January 18, 2025. Questions regarding the amendment should be directed to Contracting Specialist Quaya Ervin.
