About this file
Amendment 02 for Solicitation FA460825QS034 extends the quote submission deadline to 12:00 PM CST on Friday, 25 July 2025, for the 307th Gate Operator Replacement project at Barksdale Air Force Base. The solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside for repair services of the gate operator apparatus and accessories at the Munitions Storage Area entry control point, with a 60-day performance period after award.
The amendment includes a comprehensive Q&A section addressing technical details such as gate specifications, current equipment (including HySecurity and Ramset gate controls), electrical requirements (230 volts), and site conditions. Existing infrastructure includes two 26-foot chain link gates on mounted rails, with current access control through a Honeywell Win-Pak system. Contractors are advised that there are no specific brand preferences for keypads, photoelectric beams, or gate operator components, providing flexibility in equipment selection while meeting the basic functional requirements.
