Q: Do you have information on these two tanks?

A: Information that is listed for the tanks is IAW the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Included are the drawings for Tank 8100 and 8077.

Q: When were they constructed?

A: Tank 8077: 1997

Q: Are the currently afforded cathodic protection?

A: Tank 8077: information about equipment that is known is included in the PWS.

Tank 8100: Not able to identify any test points or equipment at the tank. Ideally, survey will be able to determine.

Q: If so, does tank 8077 have an external cathodic protection system also?

A: Unknown if this tank has a rectifier or an anode bed. This needs to be assessed as part of the survey.

A: Barksdale AFB does not have “as built” drawings or commissioning reports for the cathodic protection on either of these tanks cathodic protection systems.
