Synopsis

The 2nd Contracting Squadron, Barksdale Air Force Base (BAFB), Louisiana intends to issue a solicitation for commercial services for Contractor Operated Civil Engineer Supply Store (COCESS). The requirement will be full and open with the assigned North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code

332510 and small business size standard is 750 employees. The type of contract will be a Firm-Fixed

Price.

The Contractor shall provide non-personal services, to include all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, transportation and materials to provide a Contractor Operated Civil Engineer

Supply Store (COCESS) operation located on Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. The Contractor shall source, purchase, receive, issue, deliver and stock a variety of materials, equipment, parts and supplies for construction and facility maintenance and repair for use by authorized Government personnel in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW).

The contractor will be required to maintain a management office at BAFB in order to provide other management services related to accomplishing individual jobs. The performance period is 1

October 19 – 30 September 24 (Base plus four option years).

The RFP number will be FA4608-19-R-A003 and will be issue via FedBizOps (FBO) along with any amendments to the solicitation. The anticipated date the RFP will be available is late February 2019.

Paper copies of the solicitation will not be available, interested parties will have to download the solicitation package from www.fbo.gov. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. In order to be awarded a contract with the federal government, vendors must be registered with System for

Award Management, www.sam.gov – (it takes approximately 10 days to get registered).
