About this file
This document is the Statement of Work (SOW) and associated drawings for the B445 Seed contract under the Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineer Requirement (SABER) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract at Minot Air Force Base (MAFB), North Dakota.
The SOW outlines the scope of work for the B445 Seed project, which includes maintenance, repair, alteration, renovation, and new construction work on real property at MAFB. The work may be issued as individual task orders under the SABER IDIQ contract, which has a $9.9 Million ceiling and intends to expedite contract award and execution. The contract is set aside for 100% Small Business participation, with individual task orders ranging from $2,000 to $750,000. The primary goal is to reduce design work and acquisition lead time for the 5th Civil Engineer Squadron. Prompt response and execution of all task orders is required.

CONFIRM REQUIREMENT FOR POWER AND DATA CONNECTIONS TO EITHER A PRE-WIRED CUBICLE PANEL SYSTEM, OR FOR ROUTING THROUGHOUT CUBICLE PANELS VIA WIRE-MOLD, PRIOR TO SUBMISSION OF BID/QUOTE. CONFIRM REQUIREMENT FOR POWER AND DATA CONNECTIONS TO CONFERENCE TABLE PRIOR TO BID/QUOTE SUBMISSION.
AutoCAD SHX Text COORDINATE THE FULL EXTENT OF WORK WITH DESIGN DRAWING PACKAGE, STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW), AND OTHER RELATED CONTRACTING DOCUMENTS. PLANS & ELEVATIONS PROVIDE THE OVERALL LAYOUT. SEE SOW FOR A DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK REQUIRED, OUTLINED BY DISCIPLINE AND/OR LOCATION. MAINTAIN CLEAN CIRCULATION PATHS TO ACCESS/EXIT POINTS THROUGHOUT CONSTRUCTION. ENSURE EXISTING ITEMS AND FINISHES TO REMAIN ARE PROTECTED THROUGHOUT CONSTRUCTION. AFTER COMPLETING OF DEMO, THE FOLLOWING ITEMS SHALL HAVE BEEN REMOVED: 1) ALL INTERIOR STUD FRAMING AND DRYWALL AT LOCATIONS DEPECTITED ONLY, 2) ALL FLOOR AND CEILING FINISHES 3) ALL ELEC CONDUIT & FEEDERS IN DEMOED WALL, BACK TO THE PANELS AS REQ'D TO SUPPORT NEW LAYOUT.

AutoCAD SHX Text INSTALL NEW FLOOR, WALL, AND CEILING FINISHES AS REQUIRED IN THE SOW. (PREP SURFACES AS REQUIRED.) INSTALL SUPPORT HANGERS FOR ELECTRICAL CONDUIT ABOVE CEILING WHERE WALLS WERE REMOVED. ALL HORIZONTAL RUNS OF EMT SHALL BE SECURELY FASTENED TO UPPER ROOF, SECURED IN INTERVALS OF 10', AND 3' AT JUNCTION BOXES OR TERMINATION ENDS. (INSTALL IN ACCORDANCE WITH NEC 358.30) INSTALL DATA DROPS, THERMOSTATS, AND LIGHTING SWITCHES AS DEPICTED. UTILIZE EXISTING TO THE EXTENT POSSIBLE TO RECONFIGURE THE PROPOSED LAYOUT. DASHED LINES TO HIGHLIGHT CUBICLE LOCATIONS. POWER AND DATA TO SUPPORT (8) CUBICLE LOCATIONS. SEE STATEMENT OF WORK FOR DATA CABLE CONNECTION AND POWER REQUIREMENTS. THE POWER AND DATA LOCATIONS OUTLINED ARE TO ACCOUNT FOR GENERAL OFFICE FUNCTIONS AND NEEDS. ADDITIONAL POWER AND DATA TO SUPPORT THE BUILDING SYSTEMS, LIGHTS, FIRE ALARMS, HVAC EQUIPMENT, EXIT SIGNS, EMERGENCY LIGHTING, SERVER CABINETS, AND OTHER SIMILAR TYPE ITEMS ARE NOT DEPICTED. COORDINATE FULL REQUIREMENTS WITH STATEMENT AND REQUIREMENTS NOTED BY ALL/OTHER DISCIPLINES.
AutoCAD SHX Text COORDINATE THE FULL EXTENT OF WORK WITH DESIGN DRAWING PACKAGE, BID OPTIONS, STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW), AND OTHER RELATED CONTRACTING DOCUMENTS. WORK IS OCCURRING IN AN OCCUPIED BUILDING. POWER DISRUPTIONS WILL NEED TO BE COORDINATED WEEKS AHEAD OF EXECUTING SHUT-DOWN REQUIRED WORK. PLANS & ELEVATIONS PROVIDE THE OVERALL LAYOUT. SEE SOW FOR DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF WORK REQ'D, OUTLINED BY DISCIPLINE & LOCATION, & BID OPTIONS.
