About this file

This document is a Question and Answer (Q&A) session related to a federal contract opportunity for Firing Range Maintenance at Minot Air Force Base.

The key details are: The contractor will complete a bullet trap inspection, flip, and rotate plates, including removal of minor lead buildup and HEPA vacuuming of the floor area underneath and behind the bullet trap, as well as HEPA vacuuming of the range floors. This will be done on an annual basis, and the contractor must have expertise on the materials being handled and tasks outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The document provides responses to specific questions, including whether the dimensions are Length by Width by Height (yes), if the frangible bullet material is recyclable (no), and if abatement mopping is required (no, only removing lead and dust debris). Additional details on the layout chambers, DCU placement, and egress doors are limited due to hazardous material concerns.
