Questions and Answers
1. Can you please confirm that the temperatures noted in the salient characteristics document is in Fahrenheit?
Answer: Yes, the temperatures are in Fahrenheit
2. There are two entries for the NAICS code noted. The first is just "541519" and then the other is "541519 exception." We understand that you may mean "541519 exception" because this one has the size standard of 150 (which is called out in the RFQ) rather than the other which has a $34M size standard. The title for "541519 exception" is "Information Technology Value Added Reseller" and for a heated glove solution, it seems like it might not fit since general manufacturing is going to be the suppliers of a Berry Compliant glove. Would you consider it keeping it small business and revising the NAICS code to 314999 or 315990 which seems more fitting?
Answer: Currently, the NAICS is 315210 . As of March 17, 2023, Small Business Administration (SBA) Size Standard for this NAICS is 750 people.
3. Is the intention of this RFQ to outfit the GOVT with the 400 gloves for this coming winter (2023) or the following winter (2024)?
Answer: This is for Winter 2023.
4. Can you please confirm that the deliverable for 1 pair of gloves under a resulting contract for this RFQ (QTY 400) will include 2 batteries, or if the GOVT will procure the batteries separately from this RFQ?
Answer: The government is wanting batteries with the gloves. This request should include 2 sets of batteries for each glove. One set for usage and another for charging and replacement.
