About this file
This file contains a Questions and Answers document for a cranes and hoist maintenance contract opportunity. The government has provided responses to 14 questions from prospective contractors regarding the requirements and contract details.
The incumbent contractor is Keystone Maintenance Services Corporation with contract number FA449721C0001 valued at $679,084.50. The scope and frequency of services remain unchanged from the previous contract, and there were no performance issues with the incumbent. All cranes and hoists are located inside facilities with a few mobile units belonging to the CE HVAC section, and no equipment is scheduled for upgrades or decommissioning. The contractor must provide all testing and NDI equipment, and while no emergency calls have occurred historically, an emergency repair CLIN is included for contingency purposes. All repairs are identified during quarterly inspections and approved by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Crane and hoist locations are detailed in Appendix C of the Performance Work Statement (PWS), certification requirements are specified in paragraph 1.2.2.1, and emergency response requirements are outlined in paragraph 1.3.4. Contractors will receive base access badges upon award, all questions must be directed to the Contracting Officer via email, and no budget magnitude or Independent Government Cost Estimate (IGCE) was provided for this requirement.
