1. Who/was the incumbent contractor providing Camera Maintenance and what was award amount/solicitation number?

FA449723F0007 was awarded to Condortech Services, INC. in the total amount of $135,247.75 for 5 years of services.

2. What is the exact number of cameras missing and require replacement? Is 14 cameras’ accurate per

PWS.

14 cameras to remove and replace, 14 new cameras to procure and install

3. What total number of cameras count for service?

59 Cameras total

4. Can base provide camera layout from DAFB.

No, a new site visit is scheduled for 28 June 2024 at 1300 hrs. Please see the combined synopsis/solicitation for more details. Site visit sign-up is due to the Contract Administrator and Contracting Officer by 21 June 2024 at 1000 hrs. It is highly recommended that potential offerors attend the second site visit for building layouts as they cannot be posted publicly for security reasons.

5. What cameras does Milestone support?

100% of the cameras

6. Does storage need RAID to protect recordings 32TB useable 2116.

Yes

7. Types of cameras installed resolution do we need to replace with the same?

Industry standard resolution and replace with a current generation model that is compatible.

8. What type of wall mount free standing, secure w/positive ventilation conduit into rack?

See PWS Para. 2.1.1.4

9. Where does the “live viewing screen” need to be mounted (PC may be necessary)?

The Live Viewing Screen will be placed in Bldg 150, Rm 147 – Flight Operations

10. Is there a specific brand camera that you are interested in using?

See Question 7

11. Please clarify placement of new DVR: see PWS statement below:

i. “The contractor will deliver and install 14 cameras across buildings 550, 509, and 551, providing all hardware and software required to connect the cameras to the existing DVR. The contractor will deliver and install 1 new DVR to building 150 and ensure operational. The New DVR must integrate with the current DVR and recording software that is currently install in building 550. The installation of all equipment should be accomplished on or by 03/01/2024.”

12. How old is the facility?

All facilities are 20+ years old, but not more than 25 years.

13. Is the use of this facility mainly office use?

No, warehouses except for bldg. 150 (passenger terminal)

14. How much square footage is in the facility?

Please see the attached documents.

15. How stable is the power?

Power is stable with monthly generator tests.

16. Is there a dropped ceiling in all areas of installation?

No

17. What type of walls are in the perimeter areas?

Concrete/metal

18. What type of walls is inside the offices?

Drywall or concrete

19. Do we need to drill between the walls, to run our cable infrastructure?

Possibly based on camera location.

20. Do we need to use conduit? If yes, what do you estimate the total conduit footage will be?

21. Is the existing Command Control (SOC) well ventilated?

Yes

22. Are you planning to use the existing Command Control (SOC) for the new CCTV System?

For bldg. 550, 551, and 509, yes. For Bldg 150, no, requesting a new DVR.

23. Is there a plan new for a new command control system?

Yes, for bldg. 150, we would like both systems to communicate with each other – i.e. all cameras in Bldg 150 viewable from Bldg 550.

24. If yes, how far apart will the new Command Control be from the old command control system?

Approximately 1/3 mile between facilities.

25. Is there a special room with HVAC allocated for the new Servers?

26. How many cameras are interior?

27. How many cameras are to be installed in a hanger?

Zero, all buildings are warehouses or a passenger terminal

28. How many cameras are to be installed on a roof, and how high is it?

None

29. How many cameras will be installed outside the building?

No 360-degree cameras

31. Do you need Pan/Tilt/Zoom for some areas?

Yes, mostly exterior are PTZ.

32. Is there a parking area to be viewed by any camera? If yes, please specify what type of camera?

Yes, PTZ

33. Is there a requirement to install some cameras on poles?

35. Are they going to be standalone cameras, as in not connected to the facility’s network?

Compatible with the current system and cameras that are current generation

Exterior cameras are mostly above 12’

Exterior cameras, select few interior (inside warehouse)

51. Do the buildings have drop ceilings, or are they solid ceilings between floors?

52. Are “To Scale” drawings available for publication?

No, see question 4.

i. If not, what is the length, width, and height of the building(s).

53. What are the “testing requirements” for the new or upgraded system(s)?

All cameras and both DVRs operational.

54. Is the government able to extend the solicitation’s due date?

Amendment 1 extends the solicitation due date to 11 July 2024

55. Can you please provide any more specifics on the types of cameras for the 14 cameras (will they all be standard fixed cameras,) and do you have drawings or a diagram of the camera locations?

PTZs are exterior, indoor are fixed. See Question 4.

56. Is there a specific brand camera that you are interested in using?

See Question 7.

57. Para 2.1.1 of the PWS (attachment 1) state on the last line....."The installation of all equip should be accomplished on or by 03/01/2024." This date has obviously already passed, so asking if you have a better date?

58. Would like to ask if we can receive the layouts of all associated buildings so that we can accurately build our quote and understand where the types of camera systems that should be placed.
