About this file

This is a Questions & Answers document for the B764 Flooring Replacement contract opportunity (FA446026Q0368), dated 18 March 2026. The document clarifies contract line items and project requirements for contractors bidding on the flooring replacement work at a dormitory facility.

The contract includes three CLINs: 0001 for LABOR (furnish, remove/install flooring per the Performance Work Statement), 0002 for LVT FLOORING, and 0003 for COVE BASE. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 0700-1600, with extended hours available by coordination with the facility manager and Contracting Officer's Representative. The facility has no elevator; contractors must use the main center stairwell or two exterior stairwells (requiring facility manager coordination). The contractor is responsible for all waste disposal, including dumpster rental and associated fees or permits, which can be arranged through GFL via the Recycle Center or an alternative waste provider. The facility contains tables, chairs, and small desks that will be moved by the facility manager. Contractors may use 4.5" wall base to cover old paint lines, but the contract will not be modified for additional expenses related to this choice. The facility manager will disconnect and remove computers and other electronic equipment from areas scheduled for flooring replacement, relieving the contractor of this responsibility.
