SUBJECT: Pre-Solicitation Notice/Synopsis - FA442725R0004 - Aircraft Corrosion Control Services
1. This notice is posted IAW FAR 5.203 “Publicizing and response time.” The Government intends to release a solicitation on or after 15 days from the date this notice for the requirement below. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
2. This is a pre-solicitation notice for all management, tools, supplies, equipment, parts, and labor necessary to ensure that Aircraft Corrosion Control Services are performed at Travis AFB IAW all applicable laws, regulations, standards, instructions, and commercial practices as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (see draft PWS, attached).

4. Technical Acceptability: The Government's intention is to evaluate proposals using Lowest Priced, Technically Acceptable as determined by the Contracting Officer. Evaluation procedures are subject to change; offerors shall utilize section M of the solicitation, when available, for more information. Award shall be made based upon the best value to the Government in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items. The government reserves the right to award a contract without discussions.
5. The solicitation shall be publicized through the Government-wide point of entry on SAM.gov and will be made available on or after 21 Jan 2025. This date is an estimate and subject to change without notice.
6. Prospective offerors must be registered with SAM.gov.
