About this file
This document is a set of follow-up questions and answers related to a federal contract opportunity for Grounds Maintenance services at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina. The key details are:
The 908 acres of turf require herbicide application per the Performance Work Statement (PWS) Section 1.1.5.1, not just the 460 highly visible acres. Payments for recurring services will be made monthly, while non-recurring services will be paid upon completion. Offerors must include a Mission Essential Services Plan per DFARS 252.237-7024, which is not considered a technical proposal. The government has no preference on whether the proposal is submitted as one document or split into parts. Attachments 26-30 were added to Section J, with some available on SAM.gov and others provided via email to site visit attendees. Offers will only be considered responsive if a representative attended the mandatory site visit on November 7-8, 2024.
