Questions Answers For clarification; we would ship the stands directly from Dover to Charleston, or from Dover, to our facility for refurb then to Charleston for set up and training?

The contractor, would determine the best way to do this and provide their solution in their Technical Narrative. However, the Government can provide an area at Joint Base Charleston to allow the contractor to refurbish on‐site.

Will there be a site walk through to assess the stand’s current condition and size?

Due to the COVID‐19 pandemic there will be no site visit.

Is there a maintenance or operator’s manual available for us to review of the stands?

No.

Do you have a list of items that are known in need of repair?

1. The damage requiring repair ‐ Locking t‐pins, Main electrical lines, and bellows covering the lifting pistons will need to be evaluated for replacement. We didn't see damage on the bellows but it was identified these are a common failure part due to dry rot.

2. All hardware holding main platform will need to be replaced as the nuts and bolts are single use nylon. When/if removed to break down the stand they must be discarded and replaced with new nylon hardware.

3. Sealant may be needed on some of the deck connections to seal all fuels/oils from leaking past the deck joints, this has to be removed, and new sealant reinstalled when reassembling the stands.

4. Check the weld points for cracks. There may be a need to repair a few weld points.

5. All 4 maintenance stands will need to have their main electrical cable replaced due to dry rot.

Are construction prints available for reference on these stands?

No.

What are the dimensions and weight of the stand?

1x Outboard Stand – 30 Feet Long x 20 Feet Wide x 8 Feet High

1x Inboard Stand – 24 Feet Long x 20 Feet Wide x 8 Feet Hign

2x Inlet Stand – 5 Feet Long x 20 Feet Wide x 8 Feet Hign

Approximate Weight 17,000 lbs.
