Question:
I’ve attached a picture of a shade canopy that would be able to cover the 25x26 footprint for your playground. Would this style of shade canopy be acceptable? The type (Single post umbrella type) that was included in Amendment 1 isn’t capable of spanning the 25’x26’ footprint.
This meets the requirements in the Statement of Work (Canopy fabric shall include UV-stabilizers and fire retardants for longevity and safety. UV rated thread to resist sun degradation that carries a 10 year warranty. Engineer design standards shall meet minimum Wind Speed for 140-mph (frame only) and 90-mph (frame w/canopy).) but it looks a little different than the photos of the umbrella included in Amendment 1.
Answer: Yes, this is acceptable.
