1 Drawing E-2, RM 105 shows fixture type FA, but it is not listed on the Fixture Schedule. Please provide Info on this fixture.

GEB-101S (or equivalent).

2 On sheet C-1 the last General Note tells the contractor to extend the existing lawn irrigation system to serve the new grassed area. Do you have any information or technical data on the existing system which would help guide the design or installation of the extended lawn irrigation system? Do you have any specific requirements to be met such as number of zones required or sprinkler head types?

No information on existing system.

Performance spec for new system would be to get 100% coverage.

3 On sheet A1 there is an item in the legend “KB - KNOX-BOX

MODEL 3200 W/O TAMPER SWITCH” , However, it does not show up anywhere on the drawing to be included in this project. Do you want the contractor to supply and/or install one or more of these items and if so can you locate the item(s) on the floor plan sheet

A1?

Install Knox boxes adjacent to Mail

Entry/Exit. Top of box at 48".

4 The structural sheets S1 and S2 call out the use of 6 x 6 W7.5 x W7.5

WWF (welded wire fabric) in sheets to be used in the warehouse concrete floor. W7.5 is very unusual and probably very heavy gage and weight. We are currently checking on the availability of this item. Can you verify that 6 x 6 W7.5 x W7.5 WWF is not a misprint?

Hurlburt Base Spec 03200 calls for 6x6

W7.5xW7.5 WWF or #3 rebar @ 24" o.c. each way - both are acceptable for the foundation design.

5 Are we to provide a well for the irrigation system or tie-in to the other building?

No new well. Tie into existing system.

6 The room finish schedule calls for PGB-P3 in RM 101 and 103. The reflected ceiling plan A-7 does not call for gypsum ceilings in these room. Please verify.

Exposed ceilings in Rooms 101 and 103.

7 The exterior finish notes on A-1 call for door 101 to be painted bronze. There is no door 101. Please verify.

See #17.

8 Sheet A-2 and A-3 show louvers at 6' AFF Mech Drawings calls for

12' AFF. Please verify.

All louvers must be a minimum of 10'-

0" above grade.

15 DRAWING A-5 SHOWS 6" STUDS AT EXTERIOR WALL

SECTION TO BE 16 GAUGE AND ON S-4 THE EXTERIOR

If the base will allow 18 gage studs, they can be used in lieu of 16 gage, but we can not authorize a change from the specs.
