About this file
This file is a Questions and Answers document addressing vendor inquiries regarding the FY26 Furniture for Commanders Conference Room solicitation (FA330026Q0030) at Maxwell Air Force Base.
The Q&A clarifies critical installation and site logistics. Floor plans in CAD format and room dimensions will not be provided to vendors. Similarly, photographs of existing spaces and furniture cannot be shared due to security concerns related to the Commander's location. The vendor is responsible for removing existing furniture on a one-for-one swap basis, including disassembly of current pieces. Building 1404, which houses the conference room (Room 106), has no loading dock; therefore, all furniture must be carried in via stairs during installation and removal operations. The document does not provide confirmation regarding the ground floor location of Room 106 or elevator access, indicating vendors should plan for stair-only access when preparing installation logistics and cost estimates.
