SOLICITATION FA309925Q0002

1. Question: What will be the starting date for the project?
Answer: Performance for the contract will begin no later than 30 days after award. Expected date of award is estimated to be no later than 28 February 2025.
2. Question: Do you want the Foam tank full or empty for the ARFF vehicle?
Answer: If the contractor has Fluorine-Free Foam (F-3) foam then yes, full.
3. Question: Is Airfield Fire Fighting Foam (AFFF) an allowed alternative for the ARFF?
Answer: No, AFFF is not allowed.
4. Question: If Airfield Fire Fighting Foam (AFFF) is not an allowed alternative, can the Foam tank be emptied and triple rinsed?
Answer: Yes
5. Question: F-3 type foam has a long delivery lead time as it is not immediately available, will this be a problem?
Answer: Not a problem
6. Question: Will an Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) vehicle with a 500lbs Dry Chemical Agent (PKP) be acceptable?
Answer: Yes
