Questions and Answers #1
Question: What is the difference between NADCA certification for air ducts versus a NFPA 96 certification for kitchen hood cleaning like the IKECA or others which specifically pertain to kitchen hood systems? These require yearly certification due to the dealing with NFPA 96 fire code.
Answer: The NFPA 96 is the requirements to which we abide by. I have removed the NADCA language from the PWS.
Question: If the contractor is a certified WOSB and self-certified EDWOBS company, is there any way to split the requirement so they would be able to bid on it?
Answer: Government will not split this requirement.
