SUBJECT: FA302025Q0087 Amendment 1, Questions and Answers

1. The purpose of this amendment is to provide clarification by answering the questions that have been submitted for the subject solicitation:

2. Below is a list of the questions asked for solicitation FA302025Q0087 and the applicable answers:

a. Is IUID marking mandatory for this procurement, or is the clause included as a general provision without applicability to these specific commercial items?

i. Please refer to FA302025Q0087 Attachment 1, DFARS 252.211-7003(c)(1)

b. If IUID is required, would an alternative unit marking method, such as a manufacturer-applied serial number plate or engraved identifier, be acceptable to satisfy traceability or Government property accountability standards?

i. Please refer to FA302025Q0087 Attachment 1, DFARS 252.211-7003(c)(5)(i)

3. No further questions will be answered regarding the subject solicitation.

4. The due date and time for submission regarding the subject solicitation remains as Tuesday 12 August 2025 at 1400 Central Time.

5. All other items regarding the subject solicitation remain the same.
