About this file
This document is an Amendment 4 Questions and Answers document for a FY25 EOC Furniture solicitation (Solicitation Number: FA302025Q0068). The Q&A provides clarification on several key aspects of the furniture and electrical components procurement, including electrical equipment specifications, installation requirements, and material preferences. Specific electrical components are detailed, including 21 desk outlets with 108" black cords, multiple receptacle types across different circuits, and various rigid wireways, all sourced from a UNICOR quote.
The document reveals flexibility in some procurement details: wood table bases are allowed but metal is preferred, laminate desks with PVC edges are permitted but metal desks are preferred, and electrical socket installation is not required. Additionally, no further electrical specifications are available, and no site survey will be conducted for the electrical component of the solicitation. The procurement appears to be for a federal facility, with the solicitation handled by a federal agency, though the specific agency is not explicitly named beyond the solicitation number prefix.
