About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for furniture and storage services at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Medina Annex Training Center (METC), with an effective date of 11 September 2026. The SOW outlines the Government's requirement for the dismantling, relocation, cleaning, and storage of 20,000+ furniture and appliance items from multiple locations on JBSA-Fort Sam Houston. The scope encompasses receiving and cataloging items, providing secure storage with climate control, performing necessary cleaning and repairs, and maintaining inventory records throughout the storage period. The contractor must accommodate various item types including desks, chairs, cabinets, filing systems, and appliances, with flexibility for items that may require specialized handling or disposal.
The requirement is structured as Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and represents market research conducted in accordance with FAR Part 10 to identify capable contractors. The Government anticipates potentially breaking this large requirement into multiple contracts due to its size and timeframe. The contract will ultimately require relocation of all stored items back to base at a later date. Interested contractors must complete and return the attached Request for Information (RFI) questionnaire to the designated points of contact. This is a pre-solicitation notice issued by the Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command, with the solicitation number FA3016FURNITURERELOCATION.
