About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document related to federal contract opportunity FA301626Q0102 for investigating a hydraulic fluid leak on an elevator in building B663.
The document addresses six key inquiries regarding the scope of work and existing conditions. The pit area available for work is approximately 8 feet by 6 feet. The depth of the hydraulic cylinder base below the pit slab is unknown due to the absence of as-built drawings. The elevator and hydraulic cylinder are estimated to be from 1984. The Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for the hydraulic fluid is currently unavailable, with the responsible party pending additional information from Service Contracts. The elevator is located on an interior wall rather than an exterior wall. A floor plan showing the elevator location has been provided as an attachment to the document.
