About this file
This document is a Contractor Questions file related to an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) installation project for an ICD-705 compliant facility. The questions address critical infrastructure details such as power backup, facility layout, and security system requirements. Key responses include: no facility-wide generator exists (only under-desk UPS), ceiling heights are approximately 12 feet, and all walls (including interior walls) extend to the roofline with no raised flooring. The facility plans to gradually implement ICD-705 compliance, with initial IDS installation focused on specific areas and potential future expansion to the entire facility. The document indicates specific annotations for camera locations, access control card reader placements, and references to areas needing intrusion detection system coverage.
