STATEMENT OF NEED FOR OXYGEN / AVIONICS TOOL KITS AND

SPARE TOOLS

1. GENERAL The contractor shall provide all labor, material and resources required in accordance with this statement of need to procure, deliver and provide training for (10) Avionic Tool Kits Attachment “A”, 1 Oxygen Tool Kit Attachment “B” and multiple Spare Tools Attachment “C”.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SUPPLIES AND SERVICES. The contractor shall procure and delivery of (10) Avionic Tool Kits Attachment “A”, 1 Oxygen Tool Kit Attachment “B” and multiple Spare Tools Attachment “C”.

1. Masters series Polypropylene tool kit and stainless-steel tools.

2. Size (W) 14 Inches (L) 24 Inches (H) 18 Inches and multiple sizes.

3. Weight 400lbs.

4. 7 Drawers.

5. 2-year warranty on site repairs, parts and lifetime warranty on tools.

3. JUSTIFICATION. The Oxygen tool kit enables maintainers to test and repair the oxygen system within the T-38 fleet. The Avionics tool kit enables maintainers to test and repair the avionics systems required to fly the T-38 aircraft supporting the AETC command. Spare tools will be used to supply and replace broken tools required to support maintainers conducting maintenance on T-38 aircraft.

4. PLACE OF DELIVERY. Delivery location to 11090 5th East, (Hangar 3 CTK), JBSA Randolph AFB 78150.

5. TYPE OF CONTRACT. This requirement will be procured on a firm fixed- price basis

6. SPECIFIC TASKS. Procure deliver and secure Oxygen Tool Kit, Avionic Tool kit, and Spare Tools.

7. HOURS OF OPERATION. Normal Duty hours are Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 1500

pm. Special permission may be obtained to work other than normal duty hours, provided it is at no additional cost to the government.

8. WARRANTY. Warranty shall be in accordance with the manufacture’s standard commercial warranty unless options to add additional warranties are procured at the time of the purchase.

9. INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE Delivery of all supplies and installation will be on-site.

Delivery and installation shall be FOB destination within 8 weeks after receipt of order at: 11090 5th

Street East (Hangar 3 CTK), JBSA Randolph AFB, 78150.
