Pest Control Netting for Building 952

JBSA Chapman Annex, TX

Question 1: Will there be a requirement/solution identified in the SOW to add bird spikes to ensure birds do not nest on the existing light fixtures?

Government Response: It was decided that bird spikes are not needed for this requirement. Birds are not creating nests on the lighting fixtures. The requirement is to keep birds from nesting in the rafters.

Question 2: Will the Government add an additional line-item for the bird spikes?

Government Response: No, the Government will not add a line-item for bird spikes, as an additional line-item is not required for this requirement.

Question 3: What if the quantity and unit of issue for the line-items are not adequate (less or more) as indicated on the solicitation?

Government Response: If you were present for the site visit that was conducted on 13 Feb 25, and determined that the quantity is not sufficient, please indicate that on your solicitation response. There was ample time (from 23 Jan 25 to 13 Feb 25), prior to the scheduled site visit for potential contractors to make sure that they had everything they needed to take measurements.

Question 4: Will an additional line-item be added for installation?

Government Response: No. Each line-item already includes installation in accordance with the SOW”.

Question 5: Will an additional line-item be added for Material Delivery/Equipment?

Government Response: No. Line-item number 10 of the solicitation already lists Equipment. Material Delivery falls under “Other” in line-item 10.

Question 6: Will a Warranty line-item be added to the solicitation?

Government Response: In accordance with the SOW, section 1.10., Manufacture and Standard commercial warranties for individual pieces shall be provided along with contact information as well as any operation manuals.

Question 7: Will there be any changes to the Schedule B – Pricing Form in the solicitation?

Government Response: No. There will not be any changes to the Schedule B – Pricing Form in the solicitation.
