Cargo Loads Requirement Q&A
RFQ# FA3016-24-Q-5154
1. Are there any drawings or technical data available for the 12-part numbers listed in the C-5 Training Cargo Loads Salient Characteristics attachment? There is no further technical data other than the salient characteristics document. See attachment 3 on Sam.gov posting for pictures of the cargo load reference pictures.
2. Was the 60-day delivery/lead time requirement determined by the sources sought notice, or is it driven by the urgency of the requirement? The 60-day delivery is flexible. Please submit your recommended delivery date within RFQ response.
3. Could you provide us with the potential demand forecast for the C-5 Training Cargo Loads?
Not at this time
4. Can you clarify the relationship between the C-5 Training Cargo Loads and the KC-46A Fuselage Trainers? C-5 is one aircraft, KC-46 is another aircraft. The relationship between the C-5 Training Cargo Loads and the KC-46A Fuselage Trainers is that they are similar type of equipment and that’s all. The C-5 Training Cargo Loads will never be used on the KC-46 and the KC-46 Fuselage Trainers will never be used on the C-5. KC-46 Fuselage Trainers were only referenced as an idea / starting point to create Training Cargo Loads for the C-5 specific mission.
