About this file

This document consists of questions and answers related to a federal contract opportunity to remove and replace a security camera system. The key details are:

The contract opportunity is a new requirement, with no incumbent contractor. The 90 camera locations will remain the same, with the ability to reuse approximately 25 linear feet of existing conduit. The camera heights range from an average of 9 feet to a maximum of 13 feet, and they will be installed in a mix of sheet rock and stucco walls. The requirement is for 13 interior and 77 exterior cameras, with no need for a backup UPS. Video storage of 2 terabytes is required, and the cameras will not be connected to the main network. Instead of dome analog cameras, the agency has specified a minimum 5 megapixel turret camera. The surveillance footage will be accessed directly at the station, not from a computer. Once installed, the contractor must ensure all systems are connected and provide training to the facility manager.
