About this file

This document contains questions and answers regarding solicitation FA301623Q0022 for cell phone lockers. The solicitation is seeking 375 units of cell phone lockers, with each unit containing 34 usable slots for a total of 12,750 usable cell phone slots. The lockers will have 35 total doors per unit, with one master door opening to access all 34 cell phones. The questions clarify that the requirement is for 375 complete units, rather than 375 total door openings. Additionally, it is confirmed that while the statement of work lists 34 usable doors per unit, the picture shown depicts 35 total doors, with one master door providing access to the other 34.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS: Cutoff date for contractor questions is 10:00 AM CST, 12 January 2023.

Questions 15-16

Question 15: I want to confirm that you are wanting 375 of each 35-door unit, for a total of 12,750 openings. Or are you wanting 375 door openings which will make it 11 units

Government Response: The Government is asking for 375 units containing 34 usable slots for a total of

12,750 usable cell phone slots.

Question 16: The SOW states, “requires 375 cell phone lockers with 34 usable doors on each locker.”

But the salient characteristics shows 35 doors in the picture. I am assuming it is because there is one door that is not usable, yielding 34 usable doors. Please confirm.

Government Response: The one door (#35) is a master door that opens up to show all 34 cell-phones.
