Questions and Answers

1. Most manufacturers have significant turn around times due to supply chain issues. Will there be accommodation for those issues?

Answer: The RFQ states delivery for 45 days after receipt of order. When submitting quote, please annotate the timeframe if different.

1. Is there a preferred brand or manufacturer you are looking at?

Answer: No.

1. How big is the staging area we will have access to?

Answer: No answer provided. Have requested vendor to clarify what they mean as “staging area”.

1. Can you provide an image of the bed or more details? Could you also send an image of the 3 drawer underbed unit…not sure what is meant by “attaches to frame at headboard and footboard. Do you have any dimensions?

Answer: Yes. The solid wood 3 drawer underbed will have to be able to attach to the metal frame; which is why only the overall dimension as a whole unit were provided. The frame and 3 drawer underbed will be one unit. The picture will show a clearer understanding and how the bed will look when finished. The measurement in inches and the Length (L), Width (W), and Height (H) will be annotated for further clarity. Pictures w/dimensions are on page 2 of this documents.

1. Will a final measurement be required of the windows for the blinds or will the dimensions provided be sufficient to manufacture the blinds?

Answer: A final measurement will not be required. The dimensions shall be within the range as specified in the SOW.

1. Will the deadline be extended?

Answer: No. The deadline will remain at 10:00 AM CST, 23 July 2021 as stated in the RFQ.

See the next page for pictures of the Bed, Wardrobe and Blind and corresponding dimensions. The pictures are only provided to give a visual and place the overall measurements along the items, to provide a clearer understanding of what the Government is seeking. The measurements are in inches. Please refer to SOW for further details on all of the required salient characteristics.
