Para 1.1.2.
Question 1: What does the bundle size constitute?
Government Response: Number of articles/items
Question 2: How exactly are we to accomplish this when laundry is soiled?
Government Response: TBD, pending interested party input
Question 3: Will government representatives have the items pre-counted or is the contractor to be present to perform the count at each location?
Government Response: The contractor will be present to perform the count at each location.
Question 4: For each room location, does the contractor deliver the same laundry items that were picked up?
Government Response: Yes, laundry items are picked up and delivered to same location.
Question 5: Does the contractor deliver all clean laundry at one location or to each room?
Government Response: Clean laundry is delivered back to location picked up from.
Question 6: Are all soiled laundry placed in Government provided laundry bags? If not, what are the laundry bags used for and how are the remaining soiled laundry stored before pick up?
Government Response: Soiled laundry is placed in Government-provided laundry bags.
Para 3.2.12.
Question 7: Are separate laundry baskets acceptable? For example red baskets for soiled and yellow for clean.
Appendix
Government Response: Yes, separate laundry baskets are acceptable.
Question 8: In regards to the estimated Work Load Data in the performance work statement, what does bundle size constitute? Bundle size 50? Weight? Number of items?
