About this file

This amendment modifies solicitation number FA3016-20-U-0048 to address industry questions regarding the procurement of a GE OEC Elite CFD Mobile C-Arm, Radiographic/Fluroscopic Unit or equal by the Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command. The solicitation requests a mobile fluoroscopy system to provide fluoroscopic and digital spot images for diagnostic, interventional and surgical research procedures on adult and pediatric populations. Key clarifications provided in the amendment include that an equal product must use the same flat panel digital imaging technology as the GE unit specified in the solicitation, and that offerors must specify the proposed number of days to complete delivery after receipt of order with their quotation.

Amendment 0001

The purpose of this amendment is to address Industry Generated Questions:

1. Q: Our company is an official dealer for Del Medical X-Ray and C-Arm systems. The Del Medical mobile C-Arm product named the Vision R is a fluroscopic and radiographic C-Arm that is equal to the GE OEC Elite CFD Mobile C-Arm with one exception. The Del Medical C-Arm uses image intensifier technology whereas the GE C-Arm in the solicitation is a flat panel based technology. Is this an acceptable difference with regards to the two units being equal?

A: No.

2. Q: What is the desired and maximum amount of days to complete the CLINs after receipt of order?

A: The Government does not require a maximum amount of days to complete the CLINs after receipt of order. The contractor must input the proposed amount of days to complete the CLINs after receipt of order with his/her quotation submittal. (e.g. 30 days, 60 days , 90 days)
