Questions & Answers, 16-Sep-19
1. Total # of work stations: Please confirm again the totals per area. We are getting a total of 83 workstations, 3 private offices so that is 86 total. There are 2 existing private offices and 5 existing 72 x 36 desks in the CSS Area. that would bring you to a total of 93 personnel - but you didn't include those in the total. Please clarify the total # of work stations again.
We have a total of 89 work stations that need to be build. There are an extra six that are to flex people. Those six stations can be accommodated with the other teams, or by themselves as a block. We are looking at hosting 99 people in our areas total.
1. For the walls around the Multipurpose Room and Storage Room - furniture panels cannot stack above 78" - 84" in height depending on vendor - and meet safety requirements. So - our tallest panel height is 78". We can't stack on top of that and meet safety requirements - so the walls around the Multipurpose room and Storage room should be specified as a Modular Wall - not a furniture wall. We can specify with 18" open at the top and have the ability to add glass to the top at a later date.
If you can't meet the requirement with a furniture wall, then using a modular wall is adequate. As long as the intent of the requirement is met.
1. At the Site visit it was stated that we would have 7 working days after questions were answered to provide our quote. Will you please extend the date to Sept. 20 instead of Sept. 17 to give us the 7 working days?
Unfortunately, we cannot extend the deadline.
