About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) dated 2 June 2026 from the 81st Contracting Squadron for a furniture relocation project at Keesler Air Force Base.
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and management necessary to move office furniture from Building 4605 (single story with loading dock) to Building 701 (first floor, no loading dock). The scope includes disassembling and reassembling furniture listed in Attachment 1, which comprises approximately 60+ conference room chairs, multiple desks with hutches, file cabinets, bookcases, wardrobes, tables, sofas, refrigerators, smartboards, and other office furnishings distributed across numerous rooms and office spaces. The contractor must specifically handle two 8'x10' powered "U"-shaped cubicles in Building 4605, Room 102, requiring a licensed electrician to disconnect electrical connections, relocate the pigtail wiring, and reassemble them as one "U"-shaped 8'x10' and one "L"-shaped 8'x8' cubicle in Building 701, Room 118. Each cubicle contains a customer counter, four drawer units, and one overhead. The contractor is responsible for marking items to ensure proper relocation, post-installation cleanup including removal of all debris and packaging, and disposal of materials at the Keesler Recycling Center. Industry-approved protective coverings such as craft paper and moving blankets must be used to protect all furniture and building materials without leaving residual marks. The contractor shall be liable for any damage caused and must immediately report damage to the Contracting Officer. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding recognized federal holidays. Building 4605 is located off base and requires passage through the Commercial Vehicle Inspection Area at Division Street Gate.
